History
The charity was originally established in 1962. It received a number of significant donations in the 2000s.
It is overseen by a board of trustees, with C (City of London) Company 5 Fusiliers represented by the incumbent Officer Commanding.Â
Who we are

Trustees are exclusively recruited from current and former officers of C (City of London) Company and its parent regiment.
What we do
The trustees:
ensure the charity's assets are appropriately invested to meet its responsiblities for the long term
provide the company's Officer Commanding with an annual grant for their discretionary use
consider individual grant requests from the beneficiaries on a case by case basis
administer the charity's affairs in line with current legislation
